⭐ Programme Overview

The World Health Summit is one of the world’s leading international platforms for global health, bringing together stakeholders from academia, politics, civil society, and the private sector.

Through this stipend and fellowship program, up to 15 participants will be selected to attend the summit in person. Participants will:

  • Engage in high-level discussions and sessions

  • Network with global health leaders and policymakers

  • Participate in open conference formats

  • Contribute to global health dialogue through diverse perspectives

Participants will attend as active contributors to discussions, though not as speakers, and will also engage in communication activities such as reporting or content creation.


🎁 Programme Benefits

Selected fellows will receive comprehensive financial support, including:

  • Round-trip economy class flights to Berlin

  • 4-night hotel accommodation (October 10–14, including breakfast)

  • Full registration for the World Health Summit (including meals and beverages)

  • Reimbursement of up to €200 for local transport and miscellaneous expenses

  • Reimbursement of up to €200 for visa and passport costs

  • Invitation to the official kick-off reception before the summit

This ensures participants can fully focus on engagement and networking without financial constraints.


✅ Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a national and resident of a low- or middle-income country (per World Bank classification) or have relevant lived experience

  • Demonstrate active involvement in global health (e.g., professional work, advocacy, or research)

  • Be eligible to apply for a short-term Schengen visa

  • Have strong English language proficiency

  • Submit a complete application


📝 Application Procedure

Applications must be submitted online through the official application form. The process includes:

  1. Complete Application Form

    • Personal details (including nationality and residence)

  2. Prepare Required Documents

    • Motivation letter (1–2 pages)

    • Curriculum Vitae (CV)

    • Proof of engagement in global health (e.g., recommendation letter or work evidence)

  3. Submit Early

    • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis

    • The process may close once all 15 spots are filled

  4. Selection & Notification

    • Selected applicants will be contacted via email

    • Waitlisted candidates may be contacted if spots become available
