The AFS Global STEM Educators program offers a unique opportunity for secondary-level STEM educators worldwide to enhance their teaching practices through a fully-funded, virtual exchange experience. This six-week program is designed to build global competence, intercultural understanding, and leadership skills among educators, enabling them to foster these qualities within their own classrooms and communities.

🌍 Program Overview

The AFS Global STEM Educators program is a six-week, fully-funded virtual exchange initiative targeting in-service secondary-level STEM educators globally. The program aims to equip educators with the skills and knowledge necessary to become globally competent leaders and to promote global competence within their school communities. Participants will engage in interactive online modules, collaborative projects, and discussions focusing on intercultural education, sustainable development, and global citizenship.

🎓 Scholarship Summary

  • Program Duration: 6 weeks (31 May – 12 July 2025)

  • Format: Fully online, interactive, and cohort-based

  • Eligibility:

    • In-service secondary-level STEM educators (teaching students aged 13–18)

    • Minimum age of 18 years

    • Proficiency in English

    • Ability to participate fully in an online program

  • Benefits:
