🧠 Program Overview

The AWS AI & ML Scholars Program unfolds in two distinct phases:

Phase 1: Challenge Phase (May 28 – August 1, 2025)

This initial phase introduces learners to the fundamentals of Generative AI through the "Introduction to Generative AI with AWS" course. Key components include:

Understanding the evolution and basics of AI & ML, emphasizing responsible AI practices.
Exploring use cases of large language models (LLMs) with hands-on labs in prompt engineering.
Developing a Generative AI application using AWS PartyRock.

Upon completion, participants earn an AWS Educate Badge and a Udacity certificate, signifying their grasp of ethical AI design and foundational skills.

Phase 2: Udacity Nanodegree Program (August 25 – November 25, 2025)

The top 1,500 performers from the Challenge Phase will be selected for a fully-funded Udacity Nanodegree. Participants can choose from three specialized tracks:

Future AWS AI Scientist:
- Advanced Python for data analysis and visualization.
- Training ML models using PyTorch.
- Exploring advanced neural networks, including transformers.
Future AWS Business Intelligence Engineer:
- Building AI-powered applications with Amazon Q Business.
- Automating workflows and crafting compelling data narratives.
- Leveraging no-code AI solutions for business impact.
Future AWS AI Engineer:
- Developing secure, scalable generative AI systems using Amazon SageMaker and Amazon Bedrock.
- Implementing responsible AI practices.
- Creating intelligent agents with Python and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).

Each track encompasses two real-world projects, enabling learners to build a robust AI portfolio.
