If you're a passionate and experienced litigator committed to advancing children's rights, the Child Rights and Access to Justice Fellowship 2025–28 offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact. Enfold Proactive Health Trust is inviting applications for this 30-month fellowship aimed at improving access to justice for children in conflict with the law in select districts of India.



🎓 Fellowship Summary

  • Location: Bhopal, Indore, Kalaburagi, Nainital (Haldwani), Yadgir

  • Sponsor: Enfold Proactive Health Trust

  • Study Level: Postgraduate

  • Target Group: Litigating lawyers with 2–3 years of experience, especially those with a background in social causes

  • Fields of Study: Law, Child Rights, Juvenile Justice

  • Value & Coverage: ₹25,000 per month

  • Award Duration: 30 months

  • Application Deadline: October 27, 2025, 11:59 PM IST

  • Start Date: To be announced

  • Eligible To: Lawyers based in the specified districts


📚 Fellowship Overview

This fellowship aims to:

  • Enhance legal support for children in conflict with the law

  • Advocate for child-centric approaches in Juvenile Justice Boards and Children’s Courts

  • Provide mentorship and guidance from senior child rights lawyers

  • Foster peer learning through webinars and workshops

  • Co-create a national child rights litigation network

Selected fellows will be expected to:

  • Provide legal aid to children in conflict with the law

  • Litigate at the High Court level when necessary

  • Collaborate with local civil society organizations for rehabilitation support

  • Work closely with a mentor to develop case strategies

  • Participate in learning sessions and report on fellowship activities

✅ Eligibility Criteria

  • Demographic Preference: Candidates from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, persons with disabilities, and gender minorities are encouraged to apply

Lawyers based in these locations intending to apply for the fellowship are encouraged to attend the Mela. This event will provide insights into the fellowship and an opportunity to engage with the Enfold team.
