🧩 Program Highlights
The MEG program is renowned for its interdisciplinary curriculum, combining natural and social sciences to address environmental governance challenges. With a diverse cohort of approximately 35 students from various geographical and cultural backgrounds, the program fosters a rich learning environment. ✅ Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: Citizens of developing countries (DAC list)
Academic Qualification: Bachelor's degree obtained within the last six years
Professional Experience: Minimum of two years of relevant post-bachelor professional experience (excluding internships and voluntary work)
Academic Performance: Above-average academic record (upper third)
Residency: Not residing in Germany for more than 15 months prior to application
Additional Degrees: Applicants with an existing master's degree must provide a compelling justification for pursuing another postgraduate degree
🎁 Scholarship Benefits
Tuition Fees: Waived for scholarship recipients
Living Expenses: Monthly cost of living estimated between €850 and €950
Proof of Financial Resources: Required for visa purposes; can be demonstrated through a blocked bank account, scholarship, or a declaration of commitment

Selection Process
Initial screening by the MEG program committee, followed by DAAD's final decision
6. Notification
Shortlisted candidates will be informed by end of January, with interviews conducted thereafter. Final results communicated by mid-February.
