Target Group: International scholars with no recent collaboration history with TU Dresden’s Faculty of Business and Economics
Fields of Study: Business Information Systems, Business Administration, Economics
Value & Coverage: Up to €10,000 for research project expenses, including travel, lodging, and other associated costs
Award Duration: One year, starting April 1, 2026, with the possibility of extension

📚 Fellowship Overview
The Distinguished Research Fellowship Program, established in 2021 by TU Dresden’s Faculty of Business and Economics, aims to foster innovative ideas and initiate vibrant research collaborations. The program supports the development of PhD students and early-career scholars (e.g., postdocs) and expands the international research network and activities of the Faculty. Each year, up to three fellowships are awarded to internationally recognized scholars.
Fellows are expected to:
Visit TU Dresden for at least six weeks in total
Give a research talk during their stay
Provide updates on research progress and results
Acknowledge the support in all related publications

✅ Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
Be active researchers at the professor level (including outstanding assistant and associate professors)
Work at a university or research institution outside Germany
Have no recent collaboration history (e.g., joint research projects or publications within the last five years) with members of TU Dresden’s Faculty of Business and Economics
