Each year, approximately 15 students are selected to participate in this intensive program, which emphasizes research excellence and academic development. Students engage in a structured curriculum that includes coursework, seminars, and a significant research component leading to a doctoral dissertation.
📚 Curriculum & Program Structure
The SSP is structured over six semesters, combining research activities with coursework:
Year 1:
Selection of research theme and submission of research plan
Participation in advanced seminars and interdisciplinary engineering courses
English research writing classes
Year 2:
Continuation of research with mid-term evaluations
Further interdisciplinary courses
Preparation for preliminary assessment of doctoral dissertation
Year 3:
Finalization of research and submission of dissertation
Publication of at least one peer-reviewed paper
Final evaluation and defense
Students are expected to earn a minimum of 10 doctoral course credits and demonstrate significant research achievements.
