🎓 Scholarship Overview
The MOE Taiwan Scholarship is designed to support high-achieving international students enrolling in full-time degree programs at Taiwanese universities. Beyond financial support, the program aims to:

Applicants may apply to up to five Taiwanese universities or programs, and final admission to a university is required by June 2026 after scholarship selection .
🧩 Academic Schedule
Bachelor’s Degree:
Duration: 4 academic years
Master’s Degree:
Duration: 2 academic years
Tentative period: 1 September 2026 – 31 August 2028
Doctoral Degree (PhD):
Duration: 4 academic years
Tentative period: 1 September 2026 – 31 August 2030
Programs may be taught fully in Mandarin or English, depending on the university and department.

✅ Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
Be Polish citizens
Hold the required academic qualification for the chosen study level
Not hold Taiwanese nationality or permanent residency
Not be currently enrolled in Taiwan at the same study level
Not be an exchange student under an institutional agreement
Meet language proficiency requirements:
Mandarin-taught programs: TOCFL Level 3 (B1) or higher
English-taught programs:
TOEFL or another recognized English certificate, or
Diploma from English-medium studies, or
Official confirmation from the Taiwanese university that the program is fully taught in English

📝 Application Procedure
Step 1: NAWA Application (if applicable)
Applicants who are current students or recent graduates of Polish universities (after 2024) must submit an online application via the NAWA system under:
Program Zawacka NAWA – outbound offer
Required information includes:
Host institution in Taiwan
Purpose of stay (Master’s or PhD)
Research topic
Study schedule
University nomination and transcript
CV with academic achievements
Opinion letter from a Polish supervisor or promoter
Step 2: Application to Taipei Representative Office in Poland
All applicants must submit hard-copy documents by post to the Education Division.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an online interview
Interviews are conducted in English and/or Mandarin
