Scholars are required to reside in Malaysia throughout the programme and are expected to return to their home countries upon completion to contribute to national development .


🎁 Scholarship Benefits

The MTCP Scholarship provides comprehensive financial support, including:

  • Full tuition fees paid directly to the university

  • Monthly living allowance

  • One-time economy class flight ticket (arrival and return)

Note:

  • Visa costs and university application fees are not covered


✅ Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the MTCP Scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be not more than 45 years old at the time of application

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least Second Class Upper or CGPA 3.0

  • Meet English language requirements:

    • TOEFL iBT (minimum 60), or equivalent

📝 Application Procedure

Applicants must follow these steps:

  1. Apply to a Malaysian university listed under the MTCP programme

  2. Obtain a Full Offer Letter (or conditional offer if pending)

  3. Register and submit an online application through the MTCP portal

  4. Upload all required documents before the deadline

Important notes:

  • Only complete applications submitted within the deadline will be considered

  • Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an online interview

  • If no response is received by 6 July 2026, the application is considered unsuccessful


📂 Required Documents

Applicants must prepare and upload the following:

  • Passport copy (minimum 12 months validity)

  • Academic transcripts (with grading system explanation if needed)

  • Proof of English proficiency or medium of instruction letter

  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
