👩🏻‍💻 About She Code Africa

The She Code Africa Laptop Scholarship is part of She Code Africa’s mission to close the gender gap in technology by empowering African women with digital skills and opportunities. Through this initiative, selected beneficiaries receive laptops to help them learn, practice, and build careers in tech.

She Code Africa (SCA) is a pan-African nonprofit founded in 2016 that has empowered over 66,000 girls and women across Africa with tech skills, resources, and career opportunities. With more than 30,000 members across 30+ countries, it is one of the continent’s largest women-in-tech communities.

The scholarship is built on a simple idea: access to a laptop can be the difference between interest in tech and a real career in it.
