📝 Program Overview

The Standard Chartered Women in Cyber Security Program 2025 is a collaborative initiative between Standard Chartered Bank and @iLabAfrica at Strathmore University. Recognizing the underrepresentation of women in cybersecurity, this program aims to bridge the gender gap by providing comprehensive training and mentorship to women in East Africa. The program is fully remote, allowing participants to engage from anywhere within the eligible countries, provided they have access to a computer and stable internet.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

  • Reside in Kenya, Uganda, or Tanzania.

  • Have basic computer literacy (no prior cybersecurity experience required).

  • Demonstrate a strong interest in cybersecurity.

  • Be available for full-time participation throughout the 4-month program.

  • Have access to a computer and stable internet connection.
