The Fulbright U.S.–ASEAN Visiting Scholar Program Overview

The Fulbright U.S.–ASEAN Visiting Scholar Program aims to support research on priority issues relevant to the U.S.-ASEAN relationship and ASEAN. Selected scholars will travel to the United States to carry out scholarly and professional research on topics such as public health, economic integration, maritime cooperation, opportunities for women, and addressing transnational challenges like human trafficking and wildlife trafficking.

The Fulbright U.S.–ASEAN Visiting Scholar Program targets citizens of The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) which comprises ten member states. Here they are:

Eligibility Check

To be eligible for the Fulbright U.S.–ASEAN Visiting Scholar program, applicants must meet below criteria:

Nationality: Must be a citizen of an ASEAN member state.
Academic Qualification: Hold a master's degree or higher.
English Proficiency: Proficient in English.
Professional Experience: Be highly motivated and experienced in fields relevant to U.S.-ASEAN issues.
Health: Be in good health.
