🧭 Scholarship Overview

The Stamps Scholarship at University of Miami is merit-based, meaning that it is awarded based on academic excellence, leadership qualities, and the strength of your overall profile (essays, activities, recommendations). There is no consideration of financial need in eligibility.

Students selected as Stamps Scholars not only receive financial support but also become part of a national Stamps Scholars community, gaining access to enrichment opportunities, leadership programming, networking, conferences, and events.

The USD 12,000 enrichment fund is a defining feature: scholars may use it (with prior approval) for study abroad, undergraduate research, unpaid internships, conferences, leadership development, or other educationally beneficial experiences.

Because the award is renewable for up to four years, scholars must remain in good academic standing, complete the required credits, and meet GPA standards each year.
