🎓 Fellowship Summary

  • Location: New Haven, Connecticut (Yale University, USA) + Abu Dhabi/UAE study visit

  • Host Institution: International Leadership Center (ILC), Yale University Jackson School of Global Affairs

  • Study Level: Non‑degree, leadership & professional fellowship

  • Target Group: Rising leaders in conflict prevention, peacebuilding, reconciliation (civil society, diplomacy, political, religious, social enterprise sectors)

  • Fields of Focus: Conflict resolution, peace leadership, cross‑cultural dialogue, negotiation, post‑conflict reconciliation

  • Value & Coverage: Fully funded – covers travel (to USA & UAE), lodging, local transport, food, program materials, participation fees; no application fee

🧩 Program Structure

  • Virtual Learning: Bi‑weekly interactive sessions from January through May 2026, focused on leadership development, negotiation, and reflection on changing conflict dynamics

  • International Study Trip (UAE):February 1–5, 2026—Fellows travel to the UAE to attend the Zayed Award for Human Fraternity, engage with interfaith initiatives and leading peacebuilders in the region

  • In‑Person Seminar at Yale:April 13–17, 2026—immersive week in New Haven to reflect, learn negotiation and leadership, and network with faculty, peers, and international experts

✅ Eligibility Criteria

  • Demonstrated accomplishments in the field of peace, conflict prevention or reconciliation

  • Proven leadership experience and aspiration for growth

  • Commitment to cross‑cultural understanding and collaboration

  • Fluency in English

  • Availability to participate fully in both in‑person components: the UAE trip (Feb 1–5) and Yale seminar (Apr 13–17, 2026)

    • Résumé or CV (max 3 pages)

    • Personal statement (max 600 words)
