Z Zurich Foundation Scholarship 2025 Overview
The Z Zurich Foundation is committed to creating brighter futures for vulnerable communities by focusing on three core pillars:
Adapting to Climate Change: Initiatives that help communities adapt to climate change and build climate resilience.
Improving Mental Well-being: Initiatives focused on prevention and/or promotion of youth mental well-being.
Enabling Social Equity: Initiatives tackling barriers to education, employment, and/or entrepreneurship by equipping young people with the resources, knowledge, and skills needed to unlock their potential.
The scholarship aims to support 25 young leaders who are actively driving grassroots initiatives in these areas, providing them with the platform to network, learn, and share their solutions at the One Young World Summit 2025.
Scholarship Benefits
Summit Participation: Access to the One Young World Summit 2025 in Munich.
Additional Programming: Participation in pre and post-Summit sessions organized by the Z Zurich Foundation, including opportunities to engage with the wider foundation delegation and an impact-focused development day before the Summit.
Accommodation: Hotel accommodation in Munich from 1 to 6 November 2025.
Travel: Return air travel to Munich.
Meals: Catering, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Local Transportation: Ground transportation between Summit venues in Munich.
Eligibility Criteria
Age: Applicants should be aged 18 to 30 at the time of the One Young World Summit 2025.
Passion: Demonstrated passion for local and global issues.
Commitment: Proven commitment to creating positive change.
Collaboration: Willingness to engage and collaborate with fellow scholarship recipients and Zurich Insurance Group employees attending the Summit.

Note: While most delegates are between 18 and 30 years old, candidates older than 30 may be considered if they can demonstrate appropriate personal impact, initiative, and willingness to engage. However, applications from those under 18 at the time of the Summit cannot be accepted.
