The ADB–Japan Scholarship Programme at LUMS is designed for highly talented students who wish to pursue an MBA degree with the goal of returning to their home country to contribute to development. ✅ Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the ADB–Japan Scholarship at LUMS, applicants must:
Be a citizen of an ADB borrowing member country (including Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, and more).
Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with strong academic results.
Have at least two years of professional work experience after graduation.
Be 35 years old or younger at the time of application (exceptions may apply for senior officials).
Be proficient in English (minimum TOEFL/IELTS/other equivalent test scores).
Demonstrate financial need (family income ≤ USD 50,000/year; individual income ≤ USD 25,000/year).
Not be currently enrolled in another graduate programme or working/studying abroad.
Commit to return to their home country upon graduation to contribute to development.

Applicants must apply to the MBA programme at LUMS and simultaneously indicate their interest in being considered for the ADB–Japan Scholarship.
