💡 Additional Context & Insights
Ada Infrastructure in Japan: Ada is actively investing in data centre infrastructure across Tokyo and Osaka, with plans for approximately 600 MW IT load capacity in Japan.
Their Tokyo West 1 campus (TKW1) is slated to provide 31 MW capacity, with clean energy, LEED design, and high density AI-hardware readiness.
The demand for technical talent in Japan’s AI / infrastructure sector is high, especially in bridging the skills gap in data infrastructure.
Japan’s recent legislative frameworks (e.g. AI Promotion Act, R&D & Utilisation Promotion Act) reflect strong government support for human capital development in AI technologies.
Ada’s leadership highlights workforce and labor challenges in the data centre sector and emphasizes training and talent programs as strategic priorities.
