ASSIST Scholars Exchange Programme Overview
1). Host Institutions: Over 75 leading private high schools across the U.S.
2). Age Requirements: Students aged 14-18 (primarily entering 10th and 11th grade).
3). Scholarship: Full and Partial Scholarships available covering tuition, room, and board.
4). Duration: One academic year (10 months)
5). Language Proficiency: High proficiency in English required.
6). Application Process: Includes online application, teacher recommendations, academic transcripts, photos, and an interview.
7). Orientation: Comprehensive pre-departure orientation program.
8). Extracurriculars: Opportunities to engage in various extracurricular activities and to interact with a global alumni network of over 6000 students.
ASSIST Scholarship Benefits
Those who are named ASSIST Scholars receive a one-year scholarship from a leading private high school in the United States. This transformative opportunity opens doors and minds for life-long successes. Students from all countries (except the U.S.) are invited to apply.
ASSIST Scholars has two types of scholarships:
Sanderson and Lindfors.
1). ASSIST Sanderson Scholarships
Full tuition and room and board at a private American boarding school, OR
Full tuition at a private day school and housing with an American volunteer host family
2). ASSIST Lindfors Scholarships
ASSIST Lindfors Scholarship awards:
Partial tuition and room and board at a private American boarding school, OR
Partial tuition at a private day school and housing with an American volunteer host family
➢ For Lindfors Scholars, the American school funds at least 50% of the tuition. The Lindfors Scholarship program fee for the '25-'26 school year is USD $36,250 which includes the remaining school tuition and ASSIST's program fee. Also, Families who demonstrate financial need can receive extra coverage from ASSIST's donors.
General Eligibility Criteria are
Currently in grades 9, 10 or 11.
Able to communicate proficiently in English.
A high achieving student with a strong academic record (grades in the A and B range.)
Interested in becoming involved in a school community outside of the classroom.
Eager to share your culture as an ambassador of your country, to learn what is unique about American culture, and to share what you have learned back home.
3). The Davis and Kemper Scholarship Program
The Davis Scholarship Program is unique in that it allows students to study for two or three years at one of the six boarding schools that are part of the Davis International Scholars Program. Davis Scholars graduate with an American high school diploma and may go on to study at a college or university in the U.S. or the U.K.
Davis Scholars receive:
$25,000 from The Davis Scholars Program towards tuition annually for their boarding school years. Depending on a family's financial need, the school will provide a scholarship for the remainder of tuition, room and board.
$25,000 towards tuition annually for four years of undergraduate work, if accepted to one of the UWC partner universities and colleges

4). The Kemper Scholar Program at Phillips Academy Andover
Students who are awarded the Kemper Scholarship earn the opportunity to study for one year at Phillips Academy Andover, a boarding school in Andover, Massachusetts, as a 12th grade or post-graduate student. Students are awarded financial assistance sufficient to meet 100% of a family’s full financial need to study for one year at Phillips Academy Andover. Students typically attend Phillips Academy the year after completing high school in their home country.
Candidate eligibility requirements include:
Must be a European citizen
Not typically older than 18
Must be eligible to participate as a 12th grade or post-graduate student of Phillips Academy
Must be qualified to obtain a Phillips Academy diploma after successful completion of the academic year
Must NOT have previously studied in an English-speaking country for a semester or more
