✅ Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for this fellowship, you must:

  • Be a citizen and resident of one of the designated Western Balkan countries.

  • Commit to returning home post-fellowship.

  • Hold a postgraduate qualification or equivalent training/experience.

  • Have at least 5 years of relevant work experience in cyber security or policy—whether in government, academia, or advisory roles.

  • Be proficient in English.

  • Not hold British or dual British citizenship.

  • Not be (or closely related to) a current/former employee of UK government bodies or associated organizations within two years of application opening.

  • Not have received UK Government (including Chevening) scholarship funding in the past five years.
