✅ Eligibility Criteria

  • Academic Qualifications: An MSc degree in Agricultural Sciences or a related field with an above-average final grade. For non-European degrees, a ranking from the issuing university must be included.

  • Research Proposal: A detailed research proposal using the provided template.

  • Language Proficiency: Proof of English proficiency (e.g., TOEFL or IELTS certificate).

  • Recommendations:

    • Letter of recommendation and supervision confirmation from a professor affiliated with a German university.

    • Letter of recommendation and supervision commitment from a CGIAR++ center scientist, stating attachment to a CGIAR++ research program/project.

  • Hosting Agreement: A hosting agreement from the respective CGIAR++ center.

  • Application Deadline: All applications must be submitted by January 15, 2026.



🧾 Application Procedure

  1. Prepare Documents: Gather all required documents, including your research proposal, academic transcripts, language proficiency certificates, and recommendation letters.

  2. Submit Application: Use the Hub application portal to submit your application. The portal will be activated for submissions from mid-November 2025.

  3. Evaluation: Applications will be evaluated, and scholarships will be awarded from January 15, 2026 onwards.
