If you're a woman entrepreneur in Ghana's horticulture or agro-processing sector, the Ghana Netherlands Business & Culture Council (GNBCC) invites you to apply for the second edition of its Women in Business (WIB) Mentorship Program 2025. This initiative aims to empower women-led businesses by providing tailored mentorship, training, and networking opportunities to support both early-stage entrepreneurs and more established businesses. Applications are open until May 9, 2025.

Target Group: Women entrepreneurs in horticulture and agro-processing sectors
Fields of Focus: Business formalization, branding, export readiness, financial literacy
Coverage: Tailored training, mentorship, networking opportunities, and investor readiness support
Duration: 6 months

📚 Program Overview
The WIB Mentorship Program is structured into two cohorts to cater to businesses at different stages:
Early-Stage Track
Designed for women who have initiated their business journey and are ready to build a solid foundation for growth.
Objectives:
Support business formalization and growth
Promote financial literacy and basic recordkeeping
Guide participants through business registration and regulatory compliance
Help establish or strengthen brand presence
Prepare businesses for funding opportunities and future scaling
Eligibility Criteria:
A business idea in motion or a working prototype
Evidence of some initial sales, pre-orders, or customer feedback
Operates as a sole proprietorship or informal business
Basic financial records
Willingness to register the business within the program timeline
At least one existing sales channel
Active participation in all training and mentorship sessions
Commitment Fee: GHS 500
Growth-Stage Track
Tailored for more established businesses seeking to scale, attract investment, and expand into local and international markets.
Objectives:
Support business expansion and investment readiness
Strengthen financial systems and compliance
Position businesses for both local and international markets
Facilitate access to funding, certifications, and export platforms
Eligibility Criteria:
Registered business with proof
Minimum annual revenue of GHS 100,000
At least 2 staff members
FDA registration completed or in process
Tax compliance (TIN number required)
Active sales in Ghana and/or international markets
Business bank account in use
Bookkeeping and financial records in place
A clear plan for business expansion
Commitment Fee: GHS 1,000

📝 Application Procedure and Documents Required

Pay the appropriate commitment fee if selected.
