This fully funded fellowship is designed to accelerate ventures addressing critical issues of climate mitigation, adaptation, and resilience. 🌏 Fellowship Overview

The Halcyon Latin America & the Caribbean Climate Fellowship brings together up to 10 entrepreneurial ventures working on scalable, climate-focused solutions. Through a hybrid structure of virtual meetings and two week-long residencies (Mexico City and Colombia), fellows will refine their business models, prepare for investment, and connect with key climate stakeholders.


🧩 Program Structure

  • Virtual Kickoff Meeting: August 15, 2025

  • Residency 1 – Mexico City: August 25–29, 2025

  • Monthly Virtual Sessions: Sept. 25, Oct. 23, Nov. 6

  • Residency 2 – Colombia: November 17–21, 2025


Fellows receive workshops and guidance in:

  • Product-Market Fit

  • Investment Readiness

  • Leadership Development

  • Plus, access to experienced professional advisors and investor networks

🎁 Fellowship Benefits

Fellows selected for the 2025 cohort will receive a comprehensive package designed to accelerate their ventures:

  • $5,000 USD equity-free stipend (per venture) for travel costs

  • $10,000 USD in AWS cloud credits

  • Expert-led workshops and personalized mentorship

  • Access to a network of over 600 impact-driven entrepreneurs

✅ Eligibility Criteria

To apply, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Startup Type: For-profit, climate-related, with a Minimum Viable Product (MVP)

  • Location: Venture must be based in and/or serve Latin America or the Caribbean

  • Stage: Active, full-time founder working on a scalable solution

  • Team: You may apply with a co-founder, but the lead applicant must be CEO or primary decision-maker

  • Language: Fluent in English (program delivered entirely in English)

  • Age: Must be at least 21 years old by program start

  • Commitment: Must attend all virtual and in-person sessions

  • Impact Alignment: Venture should contribute to at least one UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG)

  3. Virtual Pitch: Finalists will be invited to pitch their ideas on June 30–July 1, 2025

  4. Notification: Selected fellows will be notified by July 8, 2025
