Monthly Stipend: 144,000 yen per month to cover living expenses.
Regional allowance: A supplemental regional allowance of 2,000 yen or 3,000 yen per month will be added to the monthly scholarship amount
Health Insurance: Coverage for medical expenses during the stay in Japan.
※ Student Health Insurance Union Fee and Alumni Association Fee will be paid by student.

Age: Generally, applicants must be under 35 years old.
Academic Background: Must have a bachelor's degree relevant to mechanical engineering for Master's program applicants.
Language: Must demonstrate proficiency in English or Japanese, depending on the language of instruction for the chosen program.
Health: Must be in good health and capable of adapting to life in Japan.

Recommendation letter from the president/dean of the last university/graduate school attended A recommendation letter written in English to the Chancellor of Tokai University. Must be written on the letterhead of the university to which the president or dean belongs, in a sealed envelope and have an official seal or a signature on it.
Passport photocopy of the photo page of your valid passport
Language proficiency: Proof of language proficiency.
