If you are a senior undergraduate, recent graduate, or master’s student in electrical & computer engineering (or a closely related discipline), applications are now open for the KAUST Microelectronics Winter Camp (MEWC) 2026 — a fully funded, six-week research internship at KAUST (King Abdullah University of Science & Technology), Saudi Arabia. 🎓 Internship Summary
Location: KAUST Campus, Thuwal, Saudi Arabia

🌍 Internship Overview
Over six intensive weeks, MEWC aims to develop both your technical and innovative skills in microelectronics. Under supervision of KAUST faculty, participants will:
Lead or contribute to hands-on research projects in modern electronics areas (e.g. integrated circuits, self-assembly, 3D/inkjet printing).
Participate in technical workshops & training in emerging and state-of-the-art technologies.
Design and build a gadget prototype based on your assigned project.
Attend side workshops on research presentation skills (including e-poster creation) and other professional development.
Compete in an E-poster competition towards the end of the program.
Enjoy social and networking events to connect with peers, faculty, and experts.

✅ Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, you must:
Be a senior undergraduate, recent graduate, or currently pursuing a master’s degree in electrical & computer engineering or related areas.
Have a strong academic record; minimum GPA typically 3.5 out of 4.0
Demonstrate strong English language proficiency.
Show motivation for research in microelectronics and ability to engage with advanced technical content.
