The Maxwell King PhD Scholarship is awarded annually to two exceptional candidates:
One in the Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) disciplines.

This scholarship is designed to support full-time PhD students undertaking research at Monash University. ✅ Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Maxwell King PhD Scholarship, applicants must:
Be an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen, Australian permanent resident, Australian humanitarian visa holder, or an international student.
Have submitted a scholarship application in the current year.
Meet Monash University's competitive scholarship selection process requirements.
Meet Monash's English language proficiency requirements.
Additionally, applicants must be undertaking a full-time PhD at Monash University in either the HASS or STEM disciplines.
📝 Application Procedure
Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI): Before applying, submit an EOI to the relevant faculty or academic unit. If your EOI is successful, you will receive an Invitation to Apply.
Apply Through the myApp Portal: Submit your application for both course admission and scholarship through the myApp Portal. You do not need to select specific scholarships; eligible applicants are automatically considered for all available graduate research scholarships.
Application Deadline: Ensure your application is submitted by the 31 October scholarship round. Eligible applicants from Rounds 1 through to 4 (of the same year) will automatically be considered for nomination by the relevant faculty.
