🌍 Programme Overview
Since its inception in 2018, Open Africa Power has been instrumental in nurturing over 500 alumni, fostering a new generation of energy leaders across the continent. The 2025 edition aims to engage up to 80 participants, ensuring at least 50% female representation, in a series of professional development and leadership activities.

Digital African Module: State of the Art (June–July 2025)
Format: Online (24 hours)

Assessment: Online multiple-choice test
External Partner Online Course (June–October 2025)
Focus: Designing policy and regulatory frameworks for sustainable energy
Deliverables: Country Project (individual or group)
Certification: Attendance, Completion, or Excellence based on performance
Italian Module: New Frontiers (Second Half of 2025)
Residential Week in Italy:
Site visits to innovative power plants, labs, and control rooms
Interactions with academic partners, government, business, and non-profit leaders
Online Course (October–December 2025):
Topics: Additive Manufacturing, ICT in Networks Management, Economic & Environmental Impact Accounting, Renewables & Climate Change, Decision-making under uncertainty, Energy transition drivers

✅ Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
Be aged between 24 and 35 by April 14, 2025
Hold citizenship of an African country
Reside in Africa or plan to relocate there by end of 2025
Be eligible to travel to Italy
Have completed a PhD, MBA, or Master's degree by April 16, 2025 (at least one degree must be from an African university)
Demonstrate interest in pursuing a career in the electricity sector
Be proficient in English (CEFR C1 level)
Commit to promoting gender equality and women's empowerment
Note: Current undergraduate students, individuals with only a Bachelor's degree, or those currently enrolled in a Master's program are not eligible.
