    • Applicant’s name, citizenship, PSU ID, PSU email

    • Degree program and academic department

    • Contact info (include campus address)

    • Desired travel dates

  2. Project Description (max 2 double-spaced pages):

    • Why undertake the trip

    • Existing or proposed collaborative activities with IISc

    • Supervisory contacts at both institutions

    • Expected research outcomes, education projects, co-publications, etc.

  3. Letter of Support: One letter from your Penn State faculty advisor highlighting how the travel contributes to research or educational collaborations, joint conferences, and/or publication opportunities


Upload all three sections as a single PDF in InfoReady before the deadline Feb 2, 2026. Awardees will need to register travel in Penn State’s Global Safety Network, follow travel protocols, and submit a post-trip summary report within 30 days of return (a template will be shared) .
