The Global EDGE Fellowship Program is part of Seoul National University’s BK21 Four Project, a national research initiative supported by the Korean government. It aims to:

✅ Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the SNU Global EDGE Fellowship, applicants must:
Be new doctoral students admitted in the 1st or 2nd semester of 2025, or students in an integrated Master’s & Doctoral program who entered the doctoral stage in the same period.
Be enrolled in a department affiliated with a BK21 Four Project educational group.
Be actively participating in BK21 Four Project-supported research.
Not be receiving other scholarships that provide tuition waivers or BK21-based financial support.
📝 Application Procedure
Prepare and complete the required documents (see below).
Submit documents to your designated college administration office well in advance of the deadline.
The administration office will forward applications to the Office of International Affairs (OIA).
Shortlisted applicants will be invited for an interview in October 2025.
Final results will be announced after the interview process.

For Integrated Master’s & Doctoral students, only Bachelor’s documents required.
Recommendation letter from a professor in the applicant’s SNU department.

BK21 Four Project Participation Confirmation Form.
Research Participation Confirmation (from the SRnD system).

Internal College Deadline: Varies – applicants must confirm with their respective colleges.
Final Submission Deadline to OIA: October 14, 2025 (Tuesday)
Interviews & Final Results: October 2025
