Be a non-Chinese citizen and in good physical and mental health.
For Master’s level: hold a Bachelor’s degree and be under 35 years of age.
For Doctoral level: hold a Master’s degree and be under 40 years of age.
Language proficiency:
For Chinese-taught programmes: HSK Level 4 or above required.
For English-taught programmes: IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 60 (or equivalent) required.
Academic excellence or research achievements are preferred and may enhance your application.
Willingness to abide by SNNU and CSC regulations (including no simultaneous receipt of other Chinese government scholarships) and provide genuine documentation.
