If you're an NGO professional from South Asia, Southeast Asia, Northeast Asia, or the Pacific Islands eager to deepen your impact and collaborate with Taiwan’s vibrant civil society, the Taiwan AID 2025 NGO Fellowship Program offers a fully funded, immersive experience. Organized by the Taiwan Alliance in International Development (Taiwan AID), this one-month program provides hands-on NGO placements, capacity-building workshops, and cross-cultural networking opportunities. Applications are open until June 1, 2025.
🎓 Fellowship Summary
Location: Taipei, Taiwan
Host Institution: Taiwan Alliance in International Development (Taiwan AID)
Program Duration: October 13 – November 7, 2025
Target Group: NGO professionals aged 25–40 from eligible countries
Fields of Focus: Community development, environment, education, gender, human rights, LGBTQ+, medical services, social welfare, media & IT
Funding: Fully funded (includes airfare, accommodation, meals, local transport, and per diem)
Number of Fellows: 12 (subject to change)

🏛️ Taiwan AID Fellowship Overview
The Taiwan AID NGO Fellowship Program is structured to provide a comprehensive understanding of Taiwan's NGO landscape through the following components:
1. Capacity-Building Workshop (October 13–17, 2025)
A four-day workshop covering:
Project management
Fundraising strategies
Advocacy techniques
Visits to civil society organizations
Participation in a roundtable event with Taiwanese NGO professionals
2. NGO Field Placement (October 20 – November 6, 2025)
Fellows will be matched with Taiwanese NGOs aligned with their professional backgrounds to engage in:
Daily operations
Event preparation
Project management
Fundraising activities
3. Wrap-Up Session (November 7, 2025)
Fellows will present a draft proposal for potential future collaboration between their home organizations and Taiwanese NGOs.

✅ Eligibility Criteria
Age: 25–40 years old
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in the NGO sector
Professional Background: Experience in fields such as community development, environment, education, gender, human rights, LGBTQ+, medical services, social welfare, or media & IT
Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English (oral and written); Mandarin is a plus
Citizenship: Applicants must be from the eligible countries listed above
