Einstein Fellowship Overview

The Einstein Fellowship 2025 is designed to support young thinkers who wish to explore new fields and interdisciplinary approaches, following the example set by Albert Einstein. The fellowship includes living accommodations for five to six months in the garden cottage of Einstein's own summerhouse in Caputh, Brandenburg. Curriculum and Activities

During the fellowship period, fellows will have the opportunity to work on their proposed projects, which should be significantly different in content, field, and form from their previous work. The fellowship is not intended for applicants who wish to complete an academic study they have already begun. Instead, it encourages innovative and original projects that demonstrate the quality, originality, and feasibility of the proposed work.


Fellows will be expected to present their projects in a public lecture at the Einstein Forum and the Wittenstein Foundation at the end of the fellowship period. This presentation will provide an opportunity to share their work with a broader audience and receive valuable feedback.
