The Atlantic Dialogues Emerging Leaders (ADEL) Program 2025 is now accepting applications for its prestigious, fully funded leadership initiative in Rabat, Morocco, taking place from December 7–13, 2025. This immersive program brings together the Atlantic Basin’s brightest minds to connect, empower, and inspire the next generation of global changemakers.

🔍 Fellowship Summary

  • Location: Rabat, Morocco

  • Host Institution: Policy Center for the New South (PCNS)

  • Target Group: Young professionals from the Atlantic Basin (Africa, Europe, the Americas, Caribbean)

  • Fields of Focus: Leadership, Policy, International Development, Public Affairs, Civil Society, Innovation

  • Funding: Fully funded (travel, accommodation, meals, local transport)

  • Duration: 7 days (Dec 7–13, 2025)

  • Eligible to: Citizens/residents of Atlantic Basin countries aged 25–35

🌍 Fellowship Overview

The ADEL Program, now in its 12th edition, is the flagship initiative of the Policy Center for the New South. It is designed to elevate young professionals aged 25–35 who are actively creating positive change in their communities and sectors. The program takes place over one week in Rabat, Morocco, just before the renowned Atlantic Dialogues conference, an annual platform bringing together global leaders to deliberate on key geopolitical and economic issues.

This intensive, transformative experience invites 40+ emerging leaders from across the Atlantic Basin to engage in collaborative learning, dynamic workshops, and vibrant policy discussions.

🧭 Program Structure & Activities

  • December 7–11, 2025: Leadership training, group work, and interactive workshops

  • December 11–13, 2025: Participation in the high-level Atlantic Dialogues conference alongside top policymakers, thought leaders, and global influencers

The program nurtures personal growth and fosters cross-cultural collaboration while enabling fellows to contribute to a lifelong alumni network devoted to impact and innovation.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

  • Be 25–35 years old as of May 7, 2025

  • Hold citizenship or residency in the Atlantic Basin (Africa, Europe, North/Central/South America, or the Caribbean)

  • Demonstrate leadership potential and a strong professional track record

  • Show commitment to creating social or sectoral impact

  • Be fluent in English

  • Be available from December 7–13, 2025

  • Be willing to actively participate in both the ADEL program and the Atlantic Dialogues conference

📝 Application Procedure

All applications must be submitted online via the official ADEL Program Application Portal.

Required documents:

  1. Resume/CV (Max 2 pages, PDF format)

  2. Personal Statement (Max 250 words) explaining your views on leadership challenges and your role in the Atlantic space

  3. One-minute YouTube Video (unlisted/private) answering:

    • Who are you and what’s your field of work?

    • What drives your work and impact?

    • Why are you applying to ADEL?

    • How will you contribute to and benefit from the program?

  4. All documents must be in English

Incomplete or late applications will not be considered. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so early submissions are strongly encouraged.

Selected participants are expected to:

  • Fully attend all program sessions and the conference

  • Actively engage in discussions and collaborative work

  • Continue contributing to the ADEL network post-program as ambassadors
