📚James Aryam Scholarship Overview

The James Aryam Master's Scholarships are designed to support individuals from conflict-affected regions in East Africa by providing access to quality postgraduate education in Uganda. The program emphasizes fields critical to community development, such as Education, Public Health, and Nutrition. Scholars are expected to apply their acquired knowledge and skills to contribute positively to their home communities upon completion of their studies.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

  • Be a resident of Sudan, South Sudan, or Somaliland, or a Sudanese refugee residing in Uganda

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree with at least a second-class upper division or equivalent

  • Demonstrate proficiency in English

  • Show a commitment to returning to their home country within one month of completing their studies

  • Exhibit a strong commitment to community development and leadership
