Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the TAGDev 2.0 scholarship at UMU, Applicants must:
Be a national of Uganda or an East African country (Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan)
Be economically disadvantaged, from marginalized communities, or from post-conflict areas
Be under 30 years (for undergraduate applicants)
Have completed secondary school (O' Level & A' Level) between 2021–2024

Application Procedure
The application process has two steps:
1. Apply for Admission to Uganda Martyrs University
Submit an online application for your chosen undergraduate program at UMU

2. Apply for the TAGDev 2.0 Scholarship
Apply through the RUFORUM Information Management System (RIMS) here. To do so, follow below steps:
Create your account by clicking on "Register Here".
Check your email inbox (including Spam or Junk folders) for the activation email.
Activate your account and log in using your email and password.
After logging in, the Applicant Dashboard will appear with various options.
Navigate to "Calls" → "Scholarship Calls".
Select the Call ID: **RU/2025UMU/TAGDev 2.0**.
Click "Apply" to begin filling out the application form.
Save your progress while filling the form by clicking "Save Draft".
Download, print, and submit your application form for admission to the university.
Submit the printed document in hard copy or attach it to the university’s online submission system.
