Postgraduate Global Advancement Scholarship – Country: Offered automatically to new master’s students from eligible countries, valued at £2,500.
Postgraduate Global Advancement Scholarship – Achievement: An additional £2,500 for applicants holding a first-class degree (or equivalent).
Postgraduate Global Advancement Scholarship – Course: A higher-value award for select degree programs.
For the January 2026 intake, only the Country Scholarship is confirmed. Students who qualify for both Country and Achievement awards may combine them, but the total tuition discount cannot exceed 50% of total fees.
The scholarship is applied automatically—no separate application is required. Once you have accepted your offer and paid your deposit, the university will apply the discount directly to your tuition fee.

✅ Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the University of Liverpool Postgraduate Global Advancement Scholarship 2026, applicants must:
Be applying to an eligible master’s or MRes program starting in January 2026.
Be an international student paying full overseas tuition fees.
Accept their admission offer and pay the tuition fee deposit before the deadline indicated in their offer letter.
Be a national of an eligible country listed by the university.
Be studying on campus in Liverpool (full-time or part-time).
Not already hold a master’s degree.
Not be sponsored by a government, company, or other external funding body.
Not have previously studied at the University of Liverpool (undergraduate, XJTLU, or Liverpool International College).
If applying for the Achievement Scholarship in addition to the Country Scholarship, candidates must also:
Hold a first-class undergraduate degree (or equivalent).
