Program Overview
The YEF aims to empower young people by providing financial resources to implement projects that contribute to the SDGs at the local level. A significant emphasis is placed on reaching under-represented and vulnerable communities, including those affected by socio-economic challenges, gender disparities, disabilities, and climate change. In the previous funding cycle, 56% of supported projects focused on SDG 13: Climate Action.
Benefits
Access to Funding: Grants ranging from €500 to €1,500 for individuals and informal groups, and up to €5,000 for registered youth-led organizations.
Capacity Building Opportunities: Successful applicants will have access to workshops, a community of youth experts, and guidance throughout their project implementation journey.
Accelerator Program: Outstanding projects may be selected for an accelerator program, offering additional funding, access to a global youth leadership network, intensive training, and expert support to scale their initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria
Age: Applicants must be between 14 and 30 years old.
