RAISEAfrica Accelerator Programme Overview
RAISEAfrica offers two tailored tracks to support entrepreneurs at different stages:
Pre-Accelerator Track: Designed for early-stage entrepreneurs to develop their business ideas.
Accelerator Track: Focused on scaling established ventures, refining business models, and expanding market reach.
Participants will benefit from a comprehensive package of services, including mentoring, coaching, networking, visibility, and fundraising opportunities. They will also have the chance to showcase their ideas at key events, engage with investors, and connect with industry leaders.
Programme Benefits
Financial Support: Each participant receives an entry token of €3,000. Additionally, they can compete for the "Young Talent of the Year" award, which offers a cash prize between €5,000 and €10,000.
Mentoring and Coaching: Access to experienced mentors and coaches to guide business development.
Networking and Visibility: Opportunities to connect with investors, industry leaders, and participate in high-profile events.
Fundraising Support: Assistance in securing funding to scale business operations.
Eligibility Criteria
Age: Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old.
Nationality: Open to entrepreneurs from all African countries.
Innovative Solutions: Applicants should have solutions addressing the renewable energy sector, focusing on areas such as technology, manufacturing, digitalization, water-energy-food nexus, circular economy, and new business models.
Application Procedure:
1. Online Application: Complete the standard online application form available on the RES4Africa Foundation's website. Ensure all essential details and supporting documents are provided in English.
2. Document Submission: Prepare and upload necessary documents, which may include:
Business Plan: Detailed description of your renewable energy solution, including objectives, strategies, and expected outcomes.
Pitch Deck: Visual presentation summarizing your business model, market analysis, and financial projections.
Proof of Age and Nationality: Valid identification confirming age (18–35) and African citizenship.
Company Registration Documents: If applicable, official papers verifying the legal status of your startup.
3. Submission Deadline: All applications must be submitted by March 14, 2025, 11:59 PM Central European Time.
4. Selection Process: Applications will undergo an administrative check and evaluation by a Selection Committee composed of initiative representatives. Shortlisted candidates will be assessed on various criteria, including communication effectiveness and public speaking skills.
