✅ Eligibility Criteria

  • Be a citizen of China, currently residing there, and willing to return to China at the end of the fellowship period.

  • Hold a postgraduate (PG) level qualification or equivalent professional training/experience in a relevant field.

  • Have at least five years of professional experience, or be a PhD candidate not affiliated with UK/EU/USA institutions.

  • Not hold dual nationality with one of them being British (unless exempt).

  • Not be a current or former employee, or related to an employee, of His Majesty’s Government or related organizations in the last two years.

  • Applicants who have received a previous HMG-funded scholarship or fellowship can apply after five years from completing the first award.
