The National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) invites applications for its 2025 NPO Capacity Building Programme. This initiative aims to strengthen youth-led non-profit organizations across South Africa, fostering social cohesion, nation-building, and active citizenship.
🗒️ Programme Overview
Over a 10-month period, the NYDA will support 90 youth-led NPOs—10 from each of South Africa's nine provinces. Participants will receive training aligned with National Youth Service (NYS) norms and standards, along with tools and templates to design impactful social projects. The programme emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders to address governance and compliance challenges.

✅ Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, organizations must:
Be 100% youth-led (members aged 18–35)
Have been operational for 0–3 years
Be South African citizens
Operate within South Africa
Focus on community and youth development programmes
Exclusions
The programme excludes:
Organizations previously part of this programme
Entities older than 3 years
Profit-making entities
Politically affiliated groups
Organizations posing reputational or compliance risks
Full-time state employees
Organizations not 100% youth-owned
