📚 Program Overview

The JASS Global Movement Builders’ School is grounded in feminist popular education methodologies and draws from JASS’s extensive experience in strengthening activist leadership and movements in Mesoamerica, Southern Africa, and Southeast Asia. Participants will engage with JASS’s latest resource, Just Power: A Guide for Activists and Changemakers, to explore strategies for transformative change.

Over the course of four days, the program will facilitate:

  • Critical Analysis: Understanding current political landscapes and power dynamics.

  • Visioning: Imagining transformative change and exploring pathways to achieve it.

  • Strategic Thinking: Sharpening strategies to navigate complex contexts.

  • Movement Mindset: Embracing a holistic approach to social change within broader ecosystems.

  • Global Networking: Connecting with a diverse group of organizers and changemakers.
