📚 Program Overview
The GCUB-Mob program is an initiative by the International Cooperation Group of Brazilian Universities (GCUB), supported by organizations such as the Guimarães Rosa Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil, the Organization for Southern Cooperation (OSC), the Organization of American States (OAS), CONFAP, UDUALC, CSUCA, UNESCO's National Commission for Brazil, and the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF).
The program aims to contribute to the development of high-performing academic students globally, promote university internationalization, and strengthen international cooperation between Brazilian universities and institutions worldwide.

🎁 Scholarship Benefits
Financial Coverage:
Exemption from enrollment fees, tuition, or academic fees
Monthly stipend to cover living expenses
Academic Support:
Access to university facilities, including libraries, laboratories, and restaurants
Participation in academic activities under the same conditions as local students
Additional Support for OSC Member States:
Up to USD 1,500 per student for airfare, visa processing, international medical insurance, and other personal expenses not covered by GCUB's associated universities
✅ Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
Be a citizen of a country that maintains diplomatic relations with Brazil
Not hold Brazilian nationality
Be in good physical and mental health
Be capable of financing additional expenses not covered by the scholarship (e.g., airfare, visa, international health insurance)
Hold a relevant academic degree:
For Master's applicants: Bachelor's degree
For Doctorate applicants: Master's degree (if required by the chosen program)
Demonstrate at least an intermediate level of Portuguese before defending their thesis or dissertation
📝 Application Procedure
Online Application: Complete the application form available at the GCUB website.
Program Selection: Applicants may apply to up to five Master's or Doctoral programs from different universities, preferably from various regions of Brazil.
Document Submission: Upload the following documents in PDF format:
Identification document (passport or national ID)
Curriculum Vitae
Academic transcripts and diplomas
Two essays:
Essay 1: Academic expectations and professional perspectives upon returning to the home country (max 1,000 words)
Essay 2: For each desired program, a research proposal covering justification, central theme, literature review, and methodology (max 4,000 words)
Language: Applications can be submitted in Portuguese, English, Spanish, or French.
Deadline: Submit the application by July 13, 2025, at 23:59 (BRT).
